CBC Kids Garden Dome (2005-07 era of CBC Kids)

Currently, an entire era of the CBC Kids block, known as the Garden Dome Era, is Lost Media.
The set, as the name suggests, consisted of a garden in a geodesic dome, and was introduced in December 2005. The hosts were Patty Sullivan, Kush Uppal, Joyce Quansah, Holly Bernier and Mark O’Brien, all of whom had been part of the CBC Kids block prior to the introduction of the garden set. Also held back was animated host Dot, voiced by Corinne Orr.
An intro sequence was featured, which showed Patty flying a plane to the dome, then pulling the other hosts out of a TV screen.
The era saw a half-hour program called You’re It! added to the block that was dedicated to the hosts. Each on had their own individual segment:
- Painting with Patty [1]
- Cooking with Kush
- Jumping with Joyce
- Hobbies with Holly
- Music with Mark
In September 2007, the block received a major overhaul, with everything changing except for Patty. The garden was replaced with a Canadian village-type setting, while the other hosts were completely dropped, with Sid Bobb being introduced as Patty’s co-host. Dot was also dropped, with a variety of puppet characters being introduced.
Since then, the Garden Dome era has remained Lost Media, with no recordings having surfaced as of September 2024.
