Johnny Test is an American-Canadian animated television series created by Scott Fellows that aired on several networks such as Kids WB and Cartoon Network. The series ran from September 17, 2005 to December 25, 2014, and went on to have a reboot and an attempted web-series.

The series revolves around the adventures of the title character, Johnny Test, an 11-year-old suburban boy who lives with his super-genius 13-year-old twin sisters, Susan and Mary, both of whom are scientists who conduct many experiments on their brother where wackiness ensues.

Availability

Season 2 and forward were produced and publicly available in widescreen format. However, season 1, which was also produced in widescreen format, has mostly never been released or seen publicly, and primarily released in 4:3 standard format.

Some promos used on Kids WB before the series premiered use stretched versions of some 16:9 clips, and an Irish dub of Johnny Test that aired on TG4 (specifically the programming block Cúla4) used the widescreen format for season 1 up until around 2014 when the rights for airing expired.[1]

More recently, a press kit from 2005 for the show's release which has been discovered on YouTube and Twitter had a variety of clips in widescreen format, also being stretched.[2]

The only surviving content and evidence from the Irish dub is a full intro in widescreen. There is allegedly more content and evidence that have been removed or blocked from YouTube, but these have not been found yet.

Outside of these examples and cases, there are no other known official releases of the widescreen format season 1 episodes available.
