Professor Hastings is an early Muppet professor performed by Frank Oz from the first three seasons of Sesame Street. Hastings originally appeared in the "Spinning Wheel" insert from Episode 0012. In his later sketches, he would give lectures about certain topics, that were so boring they would put himself to sleep.
