History

In 2012, it was announced that an animated series was in development that would be produced by CCI Entertainment and Evolution.[2] Plans of distributing the series globally, release merchandise, and multi-platform content. The series would have been unveiled at a licensing expo. The animated series was planned to be released in 2014, with merchandise being released in the fall of that same year. [3]

Availability

The book would be officially released by Random House in 2013. However, nothing has come of the animated series or any merchandise of it. That same year CCI Entertainment would be bought by 9 Story Media Group Inc. [4]

It’s unknown if it’s canceled or in development hell. Some of the storyboards from the animated series can be found on Michael Paraskevas website as a video.
