- 19:27, 10 June 2024 SpaceManiac888 talk contribs created page Leytonstone 5-1 Clapton (lost footage of Isthmian League football match; 1947) (After finally completing my house purchase and move, normal service resumes once more! And seeing how Euro 2024 is quickly approaching, it is time to cover some more lost football media. This one featured the first ever televised Isthmian League encounter, as listed by the brilliant TV Football Almanac website. Go check it out when you can. Also, feel free to suggest some other lost football media for me to cover.)

- 14:03, 30 May 2024 SpaceManiac888 talk contribs created page The Virtual Ed Sullivan Show (found UPN variety special; 1998) (Long before deepfakes, UPN thought that a digital version of Ed Sullivan could be used to present a whole new show. Alas, the viewers didn't agree, with the special drawing a pitifully low rating. I feel bad for the performers, especially those in the vaudeville sector, as they deserved greater exposure than what The Virtual Ed Sullivan Show provided.)

- 08:54, 29 May 2024 SpaceManiac888 talk contribs created page The Intertidal Zone (found Stephen Hillenburg educational comic book; 1989) (Per a request from YoshiKiller2S, I have written an article on the true genesis of SpongeBob SquarePants, which was recovered earlier this year. This will probably be the only article I will write relating to the yellow sponge. Funnily enough, I can't for the life of me remember watching SpongeBob as a child, I was more fixated on Robot Wars, Formula One, football and wrestling. I accept I probably missed out in hindsight, I did enjoy the episode about the sandcastle wars in particular.)

- 11:04, 26 May 2024 SpaceManiac888 talk contribs created page 1922 Indianapolis 500 (lost radio coverage of AAA race; 1922) (Don't panic! This article is a one-off, as two parts of the Triple Crown of Motorsport, the Monaco Grand Prix and the Indianapolis 500, are occurring later today! To celebrate, I did a deep dive into the 1922 Indy 500, the first to receive radio coverage. Jimmy Murphy was the first polesitter to win the Indy 500, his 1922 AAA season being a complete domination overall. For animation and racing fans, please spare a thought for the 1911 Lozier crushed in The Brave Little Toaster.)

Absolutely loved the show back in the day. It is very unfortunate then that most episodes, particularly from 1994-1997, have not been re-aired by the likes of Challenge. Surprisingly coveted lost media here.)

Glad to have subscribed to the British Newspaper Archive recently, as the newspapers I researched for this article gave me a lot more context beyond The Book of Heroic Failures' brief summary. The reality is that Doncaster Police's investigation ended on a high note! But not before... well, you will see!)

Pat Coombs was a great actress back in the day and also featured in numerous television commercials. Unfortunately, this muesli advertisement didn't quite go to plan. And if you think this is a strange piece, the next few lost media cases are going to be especially wild!)

It is easily one of my favourite horror films and provides a fascinating deconstruction of the found footage genre. Interestingly, the theatrical cut is merely half of the full film, with some really interesting scenes and bonus features being left out.)

- 12:22, 10 May 2024 SpaceManiac888 talk contribs created page Spitting Image (lost episodes of British satirical puppet television show reboot; 2022) (Was a super-secret third series of reboot Spitting Image planned? Quite possibly, before the death of Queen Elizabeth II resulted in ITV cancelling the episodes and the show, taking a £9 million bath in the process. An example for those who are considering a "Media affected by Queen Elizabeth II's passing" video. A shame really, I thought the reboot was pretty funny, especially when they all "bantered" Matt Hancock... I wonder who the LMW counterpart is ha ha.)

- 07:58, 6 May 2024 SpaceManiac888 talk contribs created page Lynching Scene: A Genuine Lynching Scene (lost film of alleged legitimate lynching incident; 1897) (Seeing how Drowning Scene has gotten some attention, let's talk about the International Film Company's other tasteless production. Remember, this occurred back in 1897 when lynchings were sadly extremely common, and the film industry loved exploiting this. Capitalising on the success of Edison's Lynching Scene, IFC claimed this was a legitimate piece. There is a tiny chance it might be considering Paris, Texas' reputation back then. Certainly a work from America's horrible side of history....)

- 14:14, 3 May 2024 SpaceManiac888 talk contribs created page Minecraft Castle (lost inaugural fanmade YouTube video of sandbox game; 2009) (It's time for another crowd-pleaser... and yeah, this is a fantastic mystery. Stumbled upon this rabbit hole thanks to a LMW Forum user. Naturally, major credit should go to YouTuber Paladin Ryan, as well as research groups Omniarchive and the Lost Minecraft Video Archive Discord for their comprehensive research into this one. Hence, this was a very easy yet still enjoyable write-up. Also, there are two other missing early Minecraft YouTube videos that should warrant more attention.)

- 19:46, 1 May 2024 SpaceManiac888 talk contribs created page Drowning Scene at Rockaway (lost film of alleged legitimate drowning accident; 1897) (Some debate has emerged whether this, and another title from International Film Company I will eventually cover, contain legitimate scenes of death. Personally, I think the film is a complete fake designed to lure in unsuspecting viewers, but with it being lost, one cannot say for sure. Still, at least the company was ethical in its marketing... by claiming it as "one of the most thrilling and realistic scenes ever offered to the public." Very "sharp and clear" indeed.)

- 10:17, 30 April 2024 SpaceManiac888 talk contribs created page Top Gear - Series 20: Episode 6 (lost alternative ending to episode of BBC motoring show; 2013) (The scene of all the British-made motors lining up at the Mall is one that always makes me emotional. What a fantastic finale. Interestingly, an alternative ending featuring the P45 was scrapped because the Top Gear crew realised the finale needed to be fully serious for a change. Also included Richard Porter's account of filming for the hilarious Peugeot boardroom scene. This article was going to be #750 but the available deleted scenes made me want to dig further to confirm these were lost.)

- 17:16, 29 April 2024 SpaceManiac888 talk contribs created page Teebo & Kai (lost build of cancelled PC/Xbox platformer; 2000-2001) (Despite its short length, I am quite pleased with this one. I, like others who have researched this obscure platformer, struggled to try and piece together its narrative. Indeed, for a long time I was busy trying to figure out the origins of those screenshots. I managed to luck into finding the art director's website where he stored them, as well as a lesser-known account of the game's development from the 3D artist. The weirdest part is that Teebo & Kai doesn't feel like a Valve game at all.)
