- 12:02, 25 April 2024 SpaceManiac888 talk contribs created page Take Me Out (lost unaired segments of ITV dating game show; 2012) (Regardless of one's feelings on this show, it is shocking to see that three individuals somehow managed to bypass ITV's criminal record checks. Sure, Take Me Out fortunately didn't have a Rodney Alcala on their hands, but one would think thorough checks would occur to identify if any dating show hopefuls had violent backgrounds. Alas, not in 2012 it seems.)

- 13:31, 24 April 2024 SpaceManiac888 talk contribs created page Team Fortress Classic (lost build of cancelled Xbox port of PC multiplayer first-person shooter; existence unconfirmed; early 2000s) (Love Team Fortress 2, but it seems the series' most notable pieces of lost media have already been covered on the Wiki. Still, I came across this alleged port of Team Fortress Classic that was discussed in articles and videos about the also-cancelled Teebo & Kai. That said, I am not entirely sure about its existence... personally, I think sources are confusing it for Counter-Strike's Xbox port. But seeing as some (like Tyler McVicker) have claimed it exists, it warrants further discussion.)

- 07:23, 18 April 2024 SpaceManiac888 talk contribs created page Top Gear (partially found audition and screen test tapes of BBC motoring show; 1988-2018) (This explains why I've been "absent" for a month or so! Originally, this milestone article was meant to discuss just Clarkson, Hammond and May's auditions... then I found a lot of other stuff and ended up going too far. As a result, this page is bigger by 30k characters than my Corbett-Fitzsimmons Fight write-up, I am SO sorry! Still, enjoy some very interesting facts behind the UK, Australian and American shows! Also, plenty of Fifth Gear, Driven and other lost media is briefly discussed too...)
- 09:54, 23 March 2024 SpaceManiac888 talk contribs created page 1960 World Series (partially found NBC coverage of MLB series; 1960) (Well, this is the low-hanging fruit of lost MLB media, after all. Most will remember Game 7, particularly Hal Smith's triple homer, Mickey Mantle's game-saving slide and Bill Mazeroski's walk-off home run. Amazingly, the US was a lot worse in preserving its sports broadcasts than us Brits were, at least the FA Cup Final coverage was mostly saved! Thank Bing Crosby for Game 7's survival! I highly recommend Center Field Shot: A History of Baseball on Television for researching lost MLB media.)

- 19:37, 10 March 2024 SpaceManiac888 talk contribs created page Desert Island Discs (partially lost episodes of BBC Radio interview show; 1942-present) (Have been busy elsewhere recently, but this was a fabulous one to talk about. For those unaware, Desert Island Discs is one of Britain's biggest radio shows, featuring a diverse range of prestigious guests over the years. I suspect many actually want to be on a desert island considering the world's troubles currently. Sadly, like the BBC's television output, many of the older episodes were left unrecorded or were wiped. Luckily, plenty of home recordings have resurfaced, including 92 in 2022!)

To be honest, I found this lost media story rather upsetting. Goes to show just how most actors are on thin ice, especially in a role that would make them a national star. At least Fennell became a highly respected teacher years after this.)

- 16:52, 27 February 2024 SpaceManiac888 talk contribs created page EastEnders (lost footage of Frances Cuka's scenes and Barbara Windsor's auditions as Peggy Mitchell; 1991-1994) (Even non-fans of EastEnders might recognise Barbara Windsor as Peggy Mitchell, especially if they have heard the catchphrase "Get out of my pub!". But interestingly, Jo Warne portrayed the character in 1991, having replaced Frances Cuka at the last moment! Windsor's auditions were also quite interesting and illustrated just how crucial landing the role was for her.)

- 21:59, 23 February 2024 SpaceManiac888 talk contribs created page £1,000 Reward (lost banned British drama film; 1913) (This film, about a convict's escape from Portland Prison, holds the dubious honour of becoming the first banned by the Home Office following the British Board of Censors' formation. The reason? It was too realistic and may inspire real-life escapes from Portland! 1,200 feet of this 4,000 foot work had to be removed, which completely wrecked the film's structure and narrative.)

- 16:26, 21 February 2024 SpaceManiac888 talk contribs created page Faces of Death (lost original version of mondo film; 1978) (The ultimate "video nasty", Faces of Death was an icon in the decade prior to the internet. It has since lost much of its appeal once its staged scenes were exposed, but a considerable proportion of the aftermath newsreel footage is unfortunately real. The original direction was to fill the film with 100% of these real scenes. Among these include the infamous cyclist footage, which is a mystery in its own right. Also, some footage was apparently pulled for legal reasons.)

- 10:49, 15 February 2024 SpaceManiac888 talk contribs created page The Corbett-Fitzsimmons Fight (partially found footage of boxing match; 1897) (Listen up folks: If you are a sports and/or film buff, this work deserves your utmost respect. It is stunning this film hasn't received an article on here until now, as it became the first ever feature-length production and changed the film industry forever. It also became the first recorded heavyweight championship clash, the bout being a pivotal step in boxing's popularity and acceptance. Hopefully, I have treated the subject matter with the in-depth analysis it absolutely deserves.)
