In the early 2010s there was a MMO named "Pet Party" that flash sites such as GirlsGoGames or Agame hosted. It has a wiki on Fandom: https://petparty.fandom.com/wiki/Pet_Party_Wiki

Pet Party was made by Plinga Co. and MagnetJoy I am unsure as to when it originally released, but it was officially shut down (according to the wiki) June 30th 2014.

The player would start off with a customized chibi pet character, a house containing a single room, and a garden. Over time completing "missions" allows the player to level up and unlock more rooms and other bonuses. The game like many other MMOs contained 2 types of currency, paid: "diamonds", and unpaid: "coins". Coins could be earned from both missions and the 3 avalible minigames. Players used these two currencies to buy their pet food, clothes, furniture, etc. From what I remember most of the missions were related to interacting with other players homes and pets.

Along with missions players were also expected to look after their pets as the pets had 4 status bars, happiness, hygiene, hunger, and lucky points. Happiness was increased by having your pet play with toys. For hygiene you had to bathe your pet. Hunger was increased by feeding your pet. And finally lucky points were increased by interacting with in game activities and other players.

The game heavily encouraged social interaction and allowed pets of opposite sex to confess their love for one another. Two dating players may later propose to eachother and get married. Marriage contains 8 levels that are gained by earning "love experience" after gifting each other items. You could also send other players mail but this feature may have been disabled on some sites as stated in the wiki: https://petparty.fandom.com/wiki/Love_and_marriage

Despite the wiki containing the assets for the character customization menu of the game, many of the other game assets and files are completely missing.

This game is not to be confused with the game "Pet Society" which is possibly a facebook knock-off. As the person who wrote the wiki seemed very against it.
