On April 13, 1998, Jesus is Lord Church (known as JIL) launched its own network named Zoe TV. It aired a mix of religious, news and public affairs, lifestyle programs, and educational programs. However, in April 2005, ZOE TV and Citynet Network Marketing and Productions, Inc. (a subsidiary of GMA Network) entered into an agreement of leasing Zoe's airtime in exchange for upgrading its facilities and distributing ZOE programs on GMA.[1] This results in Zoe transferring to Channel 33 while GMA makes its own station on Channel 11 (later known as QTV then GMA News TV), until 2020 when ZOE TV made a comeback on the Channel 11 frequency.

Final Sign Off

The sign-off was described by an eyewitness. The sign-off aired at 5 pm in the afternoon and the said last program aired on ZOE TV was the ISLA Hour program block (produced by CCI Asia Group, the company behind Living Asia Channel and Lakbay TV). After it ended, the station ID was shown (it was shown the second time in 2006 until 2011 and the third time in 2020 until 2021) and the ZOE TV logo stayed there for hours until it went static. The static went on for days until several teasers of programs that were set to air for QTV were aired.[2]

Availability

Zoe TV on channel 11 footage is scarce, and it's the same with the sign-off. The station ID exists in the web as it is reaired a lot of times.
