Monster By Mistake! was a French-Canadian animated cartoon series that was broadcasted on YTV from 1996 to 2003. The series was created by Mark Mayerson of Catapult Productions and co-produced with CCI Entertainment. The two companies partnered in Studio 345, a computer animation and former Sears catalogue production facility for the production of the show, which was made using Houdini software.

Plot

The plot follows siblings Warren and Tracey finding a spell book, which Tracey uses to accidentally transform Warren into a monster whenever he sneezes. When he sneezes again, he turns back into Warren. There is also a ghost who lives in the attic, who phases through doors to get into rooms, and who appears to be the spirit of a stereotypical 1950s gangster.

Availability

Besides various VHS and DVD releases of a few episodes, a YouTube channel to the show uploaded 30 episodes to the series. The entire 52 run of 'Monster by Mistake! is available to watch on Tubi.
