Big BBQ Blowout was an event that took place once during Canada Day on July 1, 2006, on YTV. The block ran for 8 hours from 12:00 noon to 7:00 pm. The block revolved around Ian Kelley from Being Ian hosting interstitials throughout programming in celebration of Canada Day in a star-studded fashion. Notably, new original animation was produced for the block for not just Ian (as well as Yvon from Yvon of the Yukon), but also ones for Captain Flamingo, Jacob Two-Two and The Amazing Adrenalini Brothers as well.[1] However, for Martin Mystery and Jane and the Dragon, clips are recycled from the actual shows respectively but use newly-recorded dialogue just for these bumpers. A sneak preview of the then-upcoming Erky Perky also premiered during the block.

Availability
Some of the bumpers have been resurfaced through personal tapes (mostly from user DangerousVHS), however, as of 2024, the rest of them are currently missing. According to the broadcast logs submitted to the CRTC, a total of 15 bumpers existed for the block outside of the ones that are known to exist.
