Additionally, I was informed that the building itself had another dark mystery that transpired before Mexia's existence. Seeing as there's been a major surge in viewership on this article following blameitonjorge's video, perhaps now the cold case of Eduardo Lopez can get some attention too.

A bloke called Benjamin MacHale contacted me recently, sharing their finds of newspaper clippings surrounding the Mexia Supermarket case, and their efforts to track down the footage. Sadly, it appears the uncut tapes are lost from the obvious sources, including the City of Fort Worth. Still, a fascinating insight into the mayhem caused by Mexia's abandonment. Will hopefully share the new links soon. Someone should perhaps inform this Gubby bloke of the new finds.

Typically, closing retailers clear out their stock by any means necessary. Mexia's owners decided... not to do that, and left everything inside, including unpackaged meat and fruit. What could possibly go wrong? Well, I think you can see where this is going, ha ha.
