Histeria! is an animated TV series produced by Warner Bros. Animation that aired on The WB as part of its Kids' WB block, in order to fulfill E/I requirements. The show is styled like a sketch comedy using a large cast of characters, including fictionalized versions of historical figures (who are caricatures of a certain celebrity). However, there is one segment that was only able to go through the storyboarding phase before being cut.

Details

The sketch, titled "Middle-Aged Mutant Renaissance Artists", was planned to be animated by the StarToons studio, with the name implying that it would've been a parody of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series focusing on artists from the Renaissance period. The sketch may have been planned for the episode "The Renaissance", given the sketch's relation to the time period. Only the storyboard is known to have been completed, and it is unknown why further development was cancelled, though it is possible that it had something to do with the "Ren-Man" sketch, a related sketch that also featured a Renaissance artist in the form of a superhero parody (in this case, Batman).
