Status: Partially Found

My Phone Genie is a British children's comedy-drama TV series that premiered on CITV from January 1st to December 1st, 2012. The series would continue to be repeated on CITV until August 28th, 2016,[1] at which point the show was completely purged from CITV, pulled from all streaming services including ITV Hub, and without the show ever having been archived or preserved in full by anyone, making almost all of its episodes lost and not available to watch anywhere at all.

Plot

The show revolves around Jaz Hart that has a genie in her phone named Gene after trying to download a new ringtone on her phone advertised in an online advert.

Cast

  • Adam Wadsworth as Gene
  • Bessie Cursons as Jaz
  • Haruka Abe as Naoko
  • Fox Jackson-Keen as Mobbsy
  • Heather Nicol as Pene
  • Lothaire Gérard as Brent
  • Ethan Hammer as Reese

Availability

In total, the series had 26 episodes. There are only two episodes that are available and found. They originate from a streaming service called Box of Broadcasts. Those two episodes are "Dumb and Dummy" as broadcast on June 24th, 2013,[2] and "Unfriend Me" as broadcast on August 11th, 2014,[3] and those two episodes would be uploaded to YouTube by the user RVF2007[4][5] where it is accessible to anyone.

Other than the two found episodes, all other 24 episodes are lost. There are a few incomplete clips of the show uploaded by other YouTube users such as Dogberry98 but nothing much more than that.
