Fifteen-to-One (lost unaired segments and episode from Channel 4 game show; 2000)

Fifteen-to-One is a British quiz show that aired on Channel 4 from 1988 to 2003, hosted by William G. Stewart, and in revived format since 2013, hosted by Sandi Toksvig.

One contestant in the series 29 Grand Final (the episode aired on December 22nd, 2000), had to be completely edited out of the show due to being involved in a legal dispute. To cover up the person's absence, the episode's intro didn't show the contestants' numbers, and there was no wide shot of Stewart walking across the set. The contestant was standing at position 4, so the questions simply jumped from player 3 to player 5 in the first round. Since the "mystery contestant" was eliminated in the first round, the rest of the episode proceeded as normal.

In addition, the regular episode that the mystery person won was never transmitted at all. (The other 14 players from that episode were all allowed to play again the following series.)

Although Challenge TV currently shows repeats of the Stewart era, it is extremely unlikely that either of the mystery contestant's appearances will ever see the light of day.
