Home Vision was a video game publisher that was an international co-production between the Taiwan-based VDI & the Belgium-based Gem International. This publisher is known to have released several games on the Atari 2600, some of which, such as Plate Mania & Tennis, which were hacks of other games like Dancing Plate from Bit Corp. & Tennis from Activision respectively. However, alongside several hacks of other companies' Atari 2600 games, they also released original Atari 2600 games, most of which were hacked & bootlegged by other companies such as Suntek, Quelle, Fantastic Game, ITT Family Games, Bomb, among others.[1][2]
For some lost games such as Around the World or Polo Game, it is unclear as to whether or not they were bootlegged by other companies at the time, especially in large part due to the vast amount of bootleg Atari 2600 cartridges that were sold throughout European countries as well as Australia, Taiwan & Brazil. For other games, bootleg versions have been found & dumped while the original version is still undumped.
