Inside Out is a 2015 American CGI-animated movie by Pixar. The film tells the story of a young girl named Riley and her emotions as they try to adjust to a new life in San Francisco.

Towards the end of the film, Joy and Bing Bong fall in the Memory Dump after Riley steals her mother's credit card in order to pay for a ticket for a ride aboard a bus operated by Transway Bus Lines. After a while, they try to escape the dump by using Bing Bong's rocket. After the first two attempts fail, Bing Bong convinces Joy to come with him one more time, and in the middle of the ride, he sacrifices his life for her by jumping off the rocket. According to Bing Bong's voice actor, Richard Kind, the original cut of the final part of this scene was forty seconds to a minute longer, and the audience could hear him pleading more and see his partially fading body.[1]

Many people who worked at Pixar preferred this version of the scene better than the one shown in the final movie. It was cut, however, due to concerns it would be too upsetting for the audience to view. According to Kind, it was very similar to the scene in Bambi where his mother gets shot by a hunter and dies. The consensus at Pixar decided that it would be cut from the final film.

The original cut has not yet been publicly released. It is not even shown as a deleted scene on the Blu-ray, Disney Movies Anywhere, or Disney+ copies, which instead shows uncompleted scenes from the time the movie was known as Brainstorm. On September 6, 2021, user Jaimie Keller uploaded a 7-second clip of unfinished animation that supposedly came from the original scene, it should be clarified that it is not the complete scene.
