Cherry Town Story aka Cherry Town Monogatari (チェリータウン物語, Cherry Town Stories) was a short anime film shown at Ōji Fancy Land, an amusement park that existed in Tamano, Okayama Prefecture from 1989 to 1995. It was produced by Toei Animation to commemorate the opening of the park, Poppy Cinema Theater attraction and was about 12 minutes long. Note that it is unrelated to Maple Town Stories (Maple Town Monogatari), also produced by Toei Animation. The short, featuring the park's mascot Cherry Mimi and her friends, was specifically shown at the park's Poppy Cinema Theater attraction.

The film is not well known to many people and its plot was unknown for a long time. The only resources that could be found on the Internet were staff information from Wikipedia and a single captured image from a 1989 Toei Animation brochure[1].
