Status: Partially Found

Starting in 2002, VeggieTales started doing live shows in Silver Dollar City, Missouri and Dollywood, Tennessee as part of their annual KidFest celebrations. Unlike VeggieTales Live, these shows used mostly puppets instead of costumes, the only costumes being of Bob and Larry. Like VeggieTales Live, these shows had humans included to help keep the flow of the stories going.

The show in Dollywood, titled "VeggieTales Live on Stage!", was toured throughout Summer 2003, and returned the following year. After a brief hiatus, the show returned in 2007 and 2008 with slightly different staging.

Hosted by the Pirates Who Don't do Anything, as well as Bob and Larry, each show would have a re-telling of a classic episode, namely "Rack, Shack & Benny" and "Lyle the Kindly Viking".

Silver Dollar City

VeggieTales started its life at Silver Dollar City in 2002, with "A Very Veggie Revue". Like the Dollywood show, "A Very Veggie Revue" had retellings of their previous episodes [albeit only segments], and would also include classic Silly Songs. This show would continue to tour until 2004. In 2008, VeggieTales returned to Silver Dollar City with "The Invention of Silliness". Unlike the previous shows, this one was entirely original and exclusive to the park.

Many photos of both the Dollywood and Silver Dollar City shows have made their way online, but there aren't many videos of any of the full shows.

On June 14, 2024, the entire "Lyle the Kindly Viking" show was discovered by ProfessorSlenderCat and uploaded to YouTube by What's the Big Idea?.
