Blue's Clues is an American children's television show that ran on Nickelodeon from September 8th, 1996, to August 6th, 2006. Blue's Clues is about a dog named Blue and her owner, Steve. The show later moved to a new actor for the owner who went by the name Joe. The series would later return on November 11th, 2019, with new episodes along with a new host named Josh. The show is still airing new episodes as of the writing of this article and has been renewed for two more seasons.

Due to the popularity of the show, a British adaptation would be produced. This version of Blue's Clues would air for 75 episodes on Nickelodeon in the United Kingdom before moving to Nick Jr. from 1998 to 2003 and would be mostly the same as the American version with the only difference being the character of Steve being replaced by another character named "Kevin", played by actor Kevin Duala[1]. This version would be notable for featuring episodes that were in the American version where Joe appears, but in the British version, Kevin would appear in place of Joe and would change shirts.

Availability

After the show aired its final episode on October 23rd, 2003, reruns would air constantly on the British Nick Jr. until 2014. After that, the British version was never seen outside of the United Kingdom. Though the British version is available on Amazon Prime UK[3][4][5][6][7][8], most of the episodes on Amazon Prime UK have been replaced with the ones from the original American version. Very little footage has surfaced of the British version outside the UK. The first episode of the British version to have surfaced outside the UK is "Blue's Sad Day". Various clips and promos from the British version have made their way online in the years since. The entire series was available on the UK streaming site LoveFilm[9] until 2014 when it became Amazon Instant Video UK[10].

In early 2021, 70 episodes of the British version surfaced online by YouTube user MrWimpyKid27.[11][12][13][14][15][16] The episodes have since been archived on MEGA.

The episodes The Baby's Here, Something To Do Blue, Blue's Backyard Ballgame Bonzana, I'm So Happy and Can You Help? were the only episodes of the British version of Blue's Clues to have not surfaced outside of some screenshots, however on June 10, 2022, Discord user TheToonsOfJosh61708 shared a Google Drive link that contained the missing episodes along with other episodes from the British version, rendering the whole series as found.
