The Sunny Side Up Show (later shortened to Sunny Side Up) is a children's short series that aired on PBS Kids's Sprout block airing daily from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. from 2007-2017. The show was hosted by various adult actors along with a chicken puppet named Chica who help teach children various educational subjects with each episode having a different theme based on other peoples submissions to the show.[1]

Episodes

Since its premiere, only 2 official DVDs of the show were released, Let's Grow: Lend a Helping Hand and Safety First.

In 2009, the block launch their YouTube channel where they use to upload various segments of the show along with their other shows like The Good Night Show, The Sprout Sharing Show and Sprout's Wiggly Waffle. In 2017 the channel was renamed to Peacock Jr. with all the show's earlier segments becoming unlisted and eventually set to private, since then, many segments were reuploaded to other YouTube channels and Archive.org.

Status

It's currently unknown how many episodes are still missing. Some of them that are known to be lost have episode titles found from listings of web archives of SproutOnline.com pages and from old deleted YouTube uploads of the show. As of 2024, those episodes have yet to resurface.
