Augusto Aníbal Quer Casar (Augusto Aníbal Wants to Get Married in English) is a 1923 Brazilian comedy film directed by Luiz de Barros. The actor Augusto Aníbal starred the film. Premiered on September, 1923.[1]

Plot
Bentoca is a man with a burning heart who wants to get married and leaves ready to do so with the first girl he meets. When he sees Yara Jordão, he starts to follow in his car, she notices and moves away, but he continues to insist.
She meets Viola Diva and other girls in a car, which takes her to Gazea beach. Bentoca follows her and after a clumsy incident with the car he appears lying on the beach, while the girls go to help him. While still lying down, he begins to have delusions about the girls who appear dancing or insinuating themselves, he wakes up and begins to be chased by several bearded men.
Once in the city, the girls decide that they will help him find a bride, they go to Darwin's house who pretends to be a beautiful woman, they write that the marriage will only happen if he is accepted right away. He runs to Darwin's house, after facing several sacrifices, also finding a priest. Darwin starts to walk like a man in front of Bentoca and when he notices, he leaves in despair, realizing the situation he found himself in. He finds a plane and decides to look for a bride in the sky.[2]
