Balinese Slapping Fish was an animated short series that premiered in 1998 on Nickelodeon Australia. It was developed by Fudge Puppy Productions, who also worked on another series Very Aggressive Vegetables.

The shorts start out with something happening then both the orange and green fish would end up appearing and slap each other in that given place, to the onlookers confusion. It ends with a group of kids saying the short's title to the viewer with the fish super imposed onto the background.
