The Wiggles is a popular children's group that formed in 1991 in Sydney, Australia. They are known for their hits Hot Potato, Get Ready To Wiggle, Fruit Salad and many others. Between 1991 and 1998, they mostly released albums and videos and toured heavily and gained popularity in Australia. By the turn of the century, the group gained global popularity and their albums, videos, television shows and tours would become hugely successful. With the group's success came re-releases of their older discography and sometimes re-recording older songs.

Reasons for older songs being re-recorded can range from use in international versions of the group (like Latin American and Taiwanese), international dubs of their TV series, live performances, background music or various pieces of merchandise. The production of the re-recorded versions of various songs likely took place in the early 2000s when the Taiwanese adaptation of the group's TV series was going into production[1], when the group were on tour in support of Hoop-Dee-Doo It's A Wiggly Party[2][3] and production on the Wiggly Safari album and video[4]. Many of these re-recordings have re-surfaced in the years since however there are some re-recordings that have never been fully released and it's unknown if they will re-surface in any form.
