The 7D is an American animated TV series produced by Disney Television Animation, which ran on Disney XD from 2014-2016. The series is a re-imagining of the title characters from the 1937 film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs by Walt Disney Animation Studios, and their adventures prior to the introduction of Snow White.

Pitch Pilot

In 2012 a pilot was made to pitch the series to Disney Channel, it's plot was an early version of the 16th episode "Lets Get Organ-ized." In the pilot, some of the characters had slightly different designs compared to the final show. According to an interview with the show's creator, he originally had it animated in Flash but end up changing to traditional 2D animation to help add production value to the show.^[1]

Availability

The pitch pilot was supposedly uploaded onto Vimeo years ago until it got taken down. Since then, only a few storyboards and concept art remained online.

In 2018, the pilot's storyboard artist, Dave Stone uploaded the intro onto his Vimeo account.

On April 25th, 2024, the pilot was found and uploaded online onto various file sharing sites along with other various Disney Television Animation Co. pilots and workprints.
