Cartoon Network Development Studio Europe (now Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe Ltd.) is the British equivalent to Cartoon Network Studios founded on September 18th, 2007. It was established as a subsidiary of Warner Bros. Discovery International for the European market. The studio is primarily known for developing the popular Cartoon Network series The Amazing World of Gumball.

Pitch Pilots

The company has produced several pitch pilots (also referred to as animation tests or promos) for prospective television series. They have produced a total of 11 of these pilots, and initially, six were available to stream online from the company's YouTube channel.[1] The shorts released were Elliot's Zoo, Pinky Malinky, Verne on Vacation, The Furry Pals, Hamshanks and the Himalolly Mountain Railway and Mutant Moments, the channel has since been shut down. At some point an additional 2 were uploaded online, The ATM by the creator Rikke Asbjoern and Gumball by one of the test's animators.

Status

While 8 shorts are available online from reuploads by other users, three of them The Amazing Adventures of Kid Cole & Klay, COSMO and Little Rikke are only accessible in fragments. It is unknown whether or not these will be made available online at any point in the future.
