Henry & June’s Nicktoon Summer Jam is a programming block that started on July 5th and ended on August 30th. It aired for 3 hours from 2PM to 5PM, and was hosted by Henry and June from KaBlam, hosting Interstitial throughout programming.[1]
The program was done by airing marathons of shows, the shows that aired marathons from this program were:
- Rugrats
- Hey Arnold!
- The Angry Beavers
- The Wild Thornberrys
- Doug
During commercial break, Henry and June were seen at the beach or the meat section at a grocery store. One notable bumper from the block was about Henry and June owning a “Summer Crisis” hotline[2]. Another notable bumper was them discussing their excitement for the premiere of SpongeBob SquarePants.[3]
Though ironically, the characters was then replaced by SpongeBob and his friends in the following year, and was renamed to Spongebob’s Nicktoon Summer Splash.
Availability
Most bumpers from the Rugrats marathon have been found, though the other bumpers has not resurfaced. It is not known how many bumpers were made from this block.
