Nickelodeon Mega Music Fest 2010 was a musical event that was broadcasted on Nickelodeon on September 6th, 2010, which was also Labor Day. It had also aired again 3 days later.[1] [2]

The event was a 1-hour musical like event filmed mostly at the Brooklyn Academy of Music that featured several Nick Jr. show characters and guest stars singing and dancing in front of an audience. The event was hosted by comedian and actor John Leguizamo, and guest-starred Justin Bieber and Phil McGraw (or Dr. Phil).[3]

Some of the shows characters featured include DJ Lance Rock and the Yo Gabba Gabba main cast, the main cast of The Backyardigans, the Fresh Beat Band, and the main cast of Ni Hao, Kai Lan. They are usually seen alongside the featured singers.

This event is sometimes known for being the last appearances and productions of several shows, such as The Backyardigans.

While the event was heavily promoted across Nickelodeon networks, it only aired very few times and due to the limited availability of the event, it has taken on a lost media status.

Availability

Prior to it being found, only at least half of the event worth of clips were found. These clips are also the only clips of the event that are in widescreen, although camera quality. There was also a higher quality upload of the intro available.[4]

There was once a torrent for the event available on Demonoid, however this torrent no longer has seeders and is classified as dead. A user on Nickstory Archives was identified to have downloaded the torrent, but did not upload it for personal reasons.[5]

On August 21st, 2023, a VHS copy of the entire event with commercials was ripped and uploaded by flyless kyle (or gomb) to Internet Archive. This was also reuploaded to YouTube. Although the first few seconds are gone, these are available in the previously mentioned clips.
